RESIDENCY FOR ARTISTS MAXMILIANKA

The concept of the residence is to create an inspiring environment for artists. The main idea is to connect the different parts of the building while separating public and private space. The environment of the residence is designed for active creation with the possibility of mutual inspiration and space for the presentation of artworks with a separate private area for living. In my concept I focused primarily on the gallery and studios, especially their illumination by northern light, the artists' apartments where the southern daylight encourages breathtaking views of the landscape. Visitors can enter the gallery with a café, while residents access the apartments through a passageway through the gallery and studio. Each studio has an inspiring view of the garden.
