House for a photographer

I designed a house for a photographer for whom photography is not just a job, but a lifelong passion and lifestyle. The building is located in Petřiny on the northern slope. The house is fully adapted to the life of one person, living a rich social life, which is deeply connected with the work life. This is expressed by the elevated studio, which is embedded in the living area and accessible from both floors. On the first floor there is an entrance hall, a dressing room and the entrance to the studio. The stairs, illuminated by a skylight along their entire length, lead to the first underground floor, where all the living rooms and also the entrance to the studio are located. The basement, accessible by a spiral staircase from the studio, is enriched with a photo chamber.
