House for David Cherny

Nikoletta Chernianchuk

Annotation

The house with a studio was built for David Cherny, a well-known Czech sculptor who is characterized by provocative creativity. Many of his sculptures can be found both in the Czech Republic and further afield. And most importantly, each evokes a certain emotion in the observer and simply cannot go unnoticed. The house is located in Perins and is made in the form of 2 cylinders, 1 of which is cut into 3 parts. This concept was chosen precisely because David also often uses rounded shapes in his works. The purpose was to create something unusual, just like the creativity of the sculptor. Despite its appearance, the interior of the house is shared in the usual way. There are 2 entrances to the house: 1 - to the working part of the dwelling, 2 - immediately to the private space of the artist.
