Šebej Residence

Detached house, designed for the notorious Slovakian karatist, Frantíšek Šebej, is located in the Petříny region of the city of Prague. The Japanese garden creates a central feature, around which the house creates a U-shape. Raumplan is used to copy the descending terrain. The house connects personal and social life with sport. Guest bedrooms and the master bedroom are situated in the western wing of the 1st floor. On the opposite side, a kitchen and a sunken living room with an entrance to the terrace are designed. The partially subterranean floor bellow is entirely dedicated to sports and recreation. Dressing rooms, finnish sauna, pool and dojo - gymnasium of martial arts with an entrance onto the summer training ground and onto the terrain itself.
