Barbora Matějková house

The house for Barbora Matějková is conceived in three height levels, which also correspond to levels of privacy. The first floor is dominated by an elevated hall intended for exhibitions. It is adjacent to a toilet and a painting storage room, which is connected by a ceiling opening to a studio for easy moving of Barbora's works. Spiral staircase is located in a half-cylinder, which is visible from the outside, while on the second floor it is situated in the open space of a part of the kitchen. From there, studio is accessible on the north side and through a balcony with a view to the hall you can go to a DJ studio. The third floor consists of a bedroom and a spacious corridor, which can be connected to the rooftop terrace overlooking the Kampa area.
