MEMORY OF NATIONS GYMNASIUM

School is a place where we not only learn and prepare through countless tests for further study and life out there, but it represents a second home to me. With the design of the new building of Gymnázium Paměti Národa, I wanted to create a school that allows students, teachers, and school visitors to meet in extensive and impactful spaces within this small school. It also enables students to spend time in the school after classes, working on group assignments, relaxing in the tearoom, in designated areas along the corridors for rest, or in the outdoor section of the residential attic complemented by a pergola. The school contains a range of classrooms, rooms, and spaces that together create a pleasant environment for all visitors of the gymnasium.
