House with a ceramic workshop

The house is located on the northern slope of Petřiny in Prague. Its main concept is the relationship of two independently functioning parts, work and residential, which grow opposite each other from a rectangular floor plan. The repeated pitched roofs are a distinctive feature. There is the living terrace in the middle of the house. The working part is accessible from the street and is designed for the production and sale of ceramics and the organization of courses for the public. The workshop space is partially elevated and lit by studio windows. It is connected to the terrace through a wide pivot door. The residential part consists of an entrance floor with a guest room, a floor with the main living areas connected to a private terrace and a top floor with a bedroom.
