House for a composer

The house is intended for a music composer and her partner. The building is located in Petřiny in the street Na okraji, on a relatively steep northern slope. The staircase, which faces north, divides the house into two parts, private and residential. Both parts copy the slope; the bedroom with terraces, and the living room with a sloping roof, so that the piano, which is located at the lowest point, reverberates both in the living room and in the dining room. The living room has two floors and is connected by a subtle spiral staircase, while the kitchen is located on the mezzanine. Access to the garden is from the staircase, from the children's room and from the living room through a sliding glass facade.
