Náchod Laboratories

The architectural design of a laboratory combined with a public outreach center and a small lecture hall on Karlovo Square in Náchod is a concept that brings together education, research, and culture in one space. The building has an open and spacious layout on the ground floor, featuring large windows and high ceilings that provide pleasant lighting and a connection to the square. The geometrically strict yet welcoming brick façade creates an atmosphere that is rational yet approachable and inviting. The ground floor houses an exhibition of technological innovations, while the basement accommodates the public outreach center in the form of a lecture hall. The goal was to create a place where people interested in science and innovation can come together to discover and be inspired.
