Library

In the residential area of Hanspaulka in Prague, the low-rise high-density complex of the Academic Centre provides housing, working as well as a place to sit back and relax. The Library consists of three levels. The first two are dedicated to the library itself. The dominant feature of the interior is a wide staircase combined with seating and bookshelves. The unusual floorplan creates an open space for reading, conversation, and social interaction. The third floor is dedicated to an apartment containing a living room with a kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and toilet.
