Family house fwith dance hall

A family house with a dance hall for the young progressive dancer Kristián Mensa on the edge of a villa development in Petřiny. An elongated plot on a steep hillside covered with trees offers a far-reaching view to the north towards Veleslavín and a peaceful environment for living in the city. After talking with Kristián, we agreed that the dance hall should not be just for him, but he would like to teach and organize different types of dance workshops in the hall. We also agreed that the hall should be able to open to the exterior at any time of the day and in the summer months as well. This created quite a large space, which I needed to place in an oblong piece of land. I decided to situate the hall with the exterior vestibule on street level.
