How about a walk under the trees? Refresh yourself by the stream? Enjoy the beautiful view? Or simply just stop? The village of Svatý Jan pod Skalou is a very busy and popular tourist destination for a large part of the year. The dominant feature of the village is the top of St. John's Rock. But what more could the village offer to spread the tourist pressure? What could benefit the village and its inhabitants? The view of the chapel, the babbling brook and lots of unused space. These are all factors that led me to the decision to develop this particular site, located right on the edge of the village of St. John. It is a place where historically there was a pond that has been filled in. Currently, the grassy area is bordered by the Loděnice stream, over which massive alders bow.
