Two-generation family house with a studio

Valerie Rudolfová

Annotation

The two-generation family home was designed to combine family and work life. The building offers two residential units and an architectural studio. The smaller unit is designed for grandparents. It is therefore located on the first floor and access is wheelchair accessible. On the first underground floor we find the studio and the main apartment unit. Both have access to their own terrace. The terraces are located on the north and south side. The main apartment for the architect's family has, among other things, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and, above all, a spacious living room connected to the dining room, from where the residents can enjoy the view of the garden. The house provides an environment where the family can live and work together, but still everyone has their own privacy.
