Qubus. Rectangular floor plan, small block. Simple, true, honest. QUBUS is a small rental company in the immediate vicinity Mšeno dam in Jablonec nad Nisou. The intention was to create an object that, with its presence, will respect not only the surrounding landscape, but, if possible, nature in the broader sense of the word. It uses a discarded shipping container, which provides enough space for basic needs. However, the seemingly ordinary block plays ingeniously with the layout and prompts one to the fundamental question of minimalism, whether we need so many things around us. The gentle setting into the terrain lets its shape speak for itself and at the same time allows visitors a view of the water surface. Closer to nature and to yourself.
