Aleš Vašíček Gallery

Aleš Vašíček is a Czech glass artist and sculptor. He emphasizes spatial expressiveness of his sculptures, he is full of tension and energy and uses the transparency of glass and its optical qualities to strengthen the effect. My effort was to create such a space where the visiter could perceive the exhibited glass objects and, at the same time the gallery herself was his inspiration. The design reflects the author's relationship to light and geometric shapes - the amorphous shape of the building creates a playful atmosphere, from the visitor's point of view the object looks like a monumental building, but at the same time the viewer has the opportunity to take a look at the more intimate exhibition space on the first floor.
