HŌP

The assignment consists of a composition exercise "fifth room", a design of a sculpture and the third, main part, a design of a hut. The SKŌK hut is located on a rock lake in the Prokop Valley and serves as a structure for leisure recreation. The closed part of the shed is used for changing clothes. On the second floor there is an area where you can lie down, sunbathe, or perhaps exercise. Thanks to its height, it offers unobstructed views of the entire lake and rock formations. Diving boards are located here. A safe jump into the water is ensured by the location of the hut almost in the half of the lake's lenght, where the water is the deepest. Therefore, the hut is connected to the shore by a pier, which also functions as a long bench for sitting directly above the water surface.
