Pavilion of the Climate Future 2123 | Glacier

With my pavilion, I would like to draw attention to the growing problem of melting glaciers. I was inspired by the degradation of glaciers. I designed the pavilion as a journey - a journey upwards, towards a better future that I believe in. In the lower part of the pavilion, one has a sense of confinement and fear. Here the visitor is confronted with reality and should realise the urgency of the present situation. However, with the view of the shining staircase that leads to the open space on the top floor, there is also hope. There comes a human effort to move forward and find a way through the dead ends. If the visitor endures he finds himself in the last room, lit by sunlight. Here he can enjoy a well-deserved rest with a beautiful view of Prague Castle.
