TERRACED HOUSE

The inspiration for my minimal terraced house was the French architect Pierre Chareau and his avant-garde house Maison de Verre in Paris. With a facade made of luxfers, which we can observe on the exterior facades. The layout of the luxfer modules outlines the layout of the house and also helps us to navigate it. The plan is axially oriented. Its interior feels effortless and relaxed, which is also supported by the open space gallery between the first and second floors. The house is divided into three floors. The first and second constitute the day zone, while the third floor, the night zone, is isolated from the rest of the house with the entrance to the bedroom, followed by a transitional wardrobe and ending with the master bathroom.
