CELEBRATION HOUSE

The celebration hall is located in Prokopské údolí next to Děvínská hradiště. It is a place for meeting people, for exuberant celebrations, quiet sitting and for hiding from the rain. The shape originates from the fifth room, sticking to its linearity and trapezoidal shape, which creates a slightly elevated space with a rectangular floor plan. The higher side opens to the landscape through a glass wall. The lower wall is embedded in the ground and this connects to the slope from which the grass-covered roof is accessible. The interior is minimalistically equipped with massive wooden furniture and thus creates a contrast with the concrete supporting structures.
