Honor to Saunders Architects

The "Honor to Saunders Arch." project creates a new gateway to the ČVUT campus, serving as an information center and representative spaces for the school. The architecture of this structure draws inspiration from the Grieg Villa by Saunders Architects, evident in several distinct elements. The roof of this building is unconventional, ascending diagonally from the terrain upwards to meet a flat roof that dominates the entire construction. This sloping roof creates a unique visual effect, infusing dynamism into the entire edifice. Above the staircase, a horizontal window utilizes the inclined roof section to craft an intriguing architectural gradation. A central feature is the staircase, forming an attractive entrance point.
