PERISCOPE

While the ship's workshop is a space for production, it is also a wood-scented place that smells of the forests from which the wood comes. My Periscope workshop is inspired by the simplicity of the surrounding buildings on Libeň Island. In the past, but also today, boats are built out of wood, so for the construction of Periscope, wood is also used as a basic material. Nowadays you don't just see boat making, it is an interesting, attractive thing and the glazing of the facade offers a view of the work of boat making from the other side of the river. To a person passing by the workshop, it offers an interesting view of the connection between nature and building for the craft.
