Reactions to the use of beautification filters - deliberately painful/uncomfortable jewellery for awareness of the seriousness of artificial beautification. Any artificial alteration of appearance is at the expense of comfort, both in terms of physicality, and psychological. Beautification is always only a short-term consolation, whether it is a face filter or plastic surgery, where we get rid of a certain imperfection, but over time we discover others and find ourselves in a vicious circle. We shouldn't cover up imperfections but work with them and accept ourselves as we are.
