Octagon, a defining solution for the oil rig sports environment, is designed as a simple, axisymmetric grandstand. The object shows the dynamism and roughness of the combat sport of MMA, and at the same time, with its openness, it works with the overall space of the oil rig, so that a fight in a cage resembles a classic street fight. The structure includes arena lighting, two locker rooms with private bathrooms, a tunnel to allow fighters to enter the arena, and two facilities for spectator refreshments.
