FOREST LODGE

As a young boy, I went on a school trip. We went to a gamekeeper's lodge to learn about the life and work of a forester. As soon as we arrived, I was a bit surprised. I vividly remember the roof, which in my childish eyes looked like a levitating cloud hovering above the ground, among the trees. This entire cloud was supported by a smaller forest of pillars. The gamekeeper hosted our entire class in an educational area designated for school visits. There, he projected short films on a screen, told us about his experiences in the forest, and shared about his life. Then, we moved to the small forest in the center. The presentation continued there, and it was finally something interactive, something where I was learning in the field and not like in the classroom during a biology lesson!
