Gallery - Hunger Games

Edita Mytrovyč

Annotation

The main concept of the design is a combination of architecture and film, with the cylinder-shaped building depicting the "arena" that is the focal point of the events of The Hunger Games. The frame reflects the movement of winners and losers. The cylinder is glazed and the slabs are supported by a truss structure and columns. Louvered slats were used to regulate the light that is required in these areas. There are 12 galleries and a roof garden responding to the story, which takes place mainly in nature. In the last gallery, there is a glass floor that allows us a unique view between the floors and on the footbridge, where the "losers" move at the water level.
