Hillfort

The assignment of this work was the design of a small intervention in the forest in Nová Role. The previously industrially damaged area is given a new purpose and use within the forest. I created a place especially for children, which serves as a forest playground. My goal was to use an interesting hill in the forest as a fortress. A wooden platform symbolizing an impregnable fortress was created on the hill. At the same time, it is used as an observatory of the surrounding events in the forest and an escape from adults. There are additional game elements around the platform that create imaginary gates to the fortress walls. The castle moat deepens under the hill, through which children can walk. At its end is a hollow hiding a second wooden platform.
