START-UP HUB

The start-up hub is located in Prague's Dejvice, in an area called Baba. The building consists of two separate buildings, the main and secondary, where the main building also serves as a public space. There are two studios for artists with a gallery and a small cafe. The second building is smaller in volume, it houses only two apartments for these artists. This whole building is designed to be in line with the other houses. Its main entrance goes directly to Matějská Street. Both the cafe and the studios are glass-columned rooms, which are shielded by the slatted structure. This helps the designed object to fit better into the site, as the slats have a woody color and therefore coordinate better with the wooded plot.
