Student housing in Štupartská.

The project is located in the center of Prague near the Old Town Square. The wonderful location and accessibility make this place very desirable, but unfortunately it also raises the price of real estate. It is a common problem in Prague that there are few apartments and the prices are high. The intention of this project was to design affordable housing on a miniature plot of land. The dominant feature of the house is the facade, which is mostly glazed and provides a lot of natural light to the residents. The feeling of coziness and privacy is created by corten rods, which are attached to the facade and prevent looking into the interior of the flats from outside. At the same time, there was an effort to make the house fit into it's surroundings and to bring something new to these parts.
