As I walked through the forest, I was strongly aware of how much it is influenced by its past and the creations of man. And how much people are influenced by their own creations. All the people walking through the forest were mostly just on the asphalt bike path. Almost no one went where the roads didn't take them. Therefore, my intention was to design something that might entice people to get off the road. Something simple that wouldn't draw too much attention to itself, but would encourage people to observe and learn about the forest, and perhaps learn about themselves. I'd like people to want to explore the forest. To make the forest a place for them to stay and not just a passing scenery. To feel it, not only with their eyes, but also with their other senses.
