Gallery V Kopečku

Gallery V Kopečku in the city of Broumov harmoniously combines functional elements with aesthetic details. The design includes a gallery, a studio, and an apartment for the gallery curator. The main goal was to create a space that serves as a cultural center and supports the local art scene. The house is characterized by the complex terrain that surrounds it. Additionally, it is located in close proximity to the Church of St. Wenceslas, dividing the historic city center from the modern development designed by my classmates. A notable feature of the building is the movable shading system made of perforated metal. This is both a practical and aesthetic element that regulates the amount of light entering the interior. The movement of the shading system creates a constantly changing facade.
