VISION OF THE FOREST - WE GO BACK TO THE WOODS

Nová Role stretches in the valley of the Rolava River between the forests and mines of the Czech Ore Foothills. One might expect that the residents know local forests and meadows all too well, and yet in the forest connecting Nová Role and Mezirolí you will mostly meet cyclists passing through the Karlovy Vary region. And we understand why this is so - the forest is not easily accessible, there are no opportunities to "stop" in the forest, the local trails have no system, and the uninitiated walker can easily get lost. In our vision, we are trying to focus on these problems and bring this prosperous place closer to local and cross-country people. We do this by designing new paths connecting important places in the city, restoring some historical paths, and a new system of markings.
