Exhibition pavilion in Stromovka

Annotation
This gallery, dedicated to Vincent van Gogh, is designed with a focus on unconventional architectural principles that reflect the duality of his work and life. The building's shapes are irregular and layered, creating contrasts between confinement and openness. The first small exhibition hall, dedicated to his dark period, is narrow, filled with irregular angles and intersecting directions, symbolizing chaos. In contrast, the second hall is large, open, and minimalist, expressing tranquility. From various points within the gallery, visitors can observe different perspectives, reminiscent of the multilayered views in Van Gogh's works. The roof, made of frosted glass, allows for a gentle diffusion of natural light, creating an ideal atmosphere for showcasing his art.
