Kokořín Apartments

Kokořín Apartments building is situated in the southern part of former public swimming pool site in Kokořín. The design derives from 3 important aspects of the site- historical, local and vernacular context. Due to local context, building consists of 3 floors with 15 apartments. The building consists of wooden contrasting facades which adds up to dynamics with the surroundings. It is mostly oriented to the east with glass facades and balconies. The ground floor opens up to private garden area accessible only from ground floor. Form of the building is designed with respect to the history of the site and creates vernacular impression. The former pool is preserved for further use by public.
