The Sound of Water

Music, dance, performance, art. All could be connected by one thing: movement. Can you see the sound moving, created by the musician? Can you see the paintbrush moving over the canvas? The Sound of Water has captured this movement in physical waves. The waves of sound, of people and the water next to it. The waves are visualised by a flowing lifted pathway along the river. The roofs of all buildings follow this curve and are accesible by pedestrians. This will give nature the freedom to develop to its fullest potential, regardless of future floods. It will provide ditrict 7 with exactly the program it needs. Not only will this project be a performing Art Centre, but also an educational centre for youth, rehearsal space and a restaurant for visitors.
