Does the post-socialist city still exist? Join an international urban planning workshop in Poznań!

Gain hands-on experience in tackling real-world urban challenges in an international team setting. This workshop is designed for master’s and PhD students interested in cities, urban planning, geography, and the ongoing transformation. With a focus on innovative teaching, collaborative fieldwork, and the use of tools like GIS, the workshop offers a unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge, enhance your skills, and earn 3 ECTS—all while working with students and professors from three Central European countries.

Format: Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)

Target group: Master’s and PhD students from Poland, Slovakia, and Czechia

Credits awarded: 3 ECTS

Language of instruction: English

Number of participants: 30 (10 per country)

This BIP brings together students from the Czech Technical University in Prague, the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, the Czech University of Life Sciences, and the host—Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. The programme will blend online preparation and teamwork with an intensive in-person course focused on exploring and redesigning urban spaces in the Piątkowo Północ housing estate.
