The publication summarizes the results of the research of the same name and is divided into three parts: introductory theoretical part is devoted to the analysis of starting points of the housing estate development and a general summary of the potential for its further development. The second presents 18 model studies and 2 pilot projects of modifications of specific sites in Czech cities. The last part of the book is devoted to data overviews and graphical comparisons: it contains the results of analyses of surveyed sites of the Czech housing estates, comparison of individual case studies and an overview of Europe's most interesting examples of housing estate regeneration of the past 25 years.
