The theme of of this article is a part of research of public spaces conducted at the Department of Town Planning at CTU Prague, Faculty of Architecture. The article focuses on the specific examples of street pattern development and its changes. The persistence of townscape is visible everywhere around us and the necessity of organic incorporation is evident. For better understanding, mapping and presentation of the city development is presented - an example of the locality in Prague. The basic data about urban morphology and its schools are presented and used in description and visualisation of locality in Prague.
