November Talks 2019, by foreign architects, this year on Transformation: Scaling and Disciplining. The series is part of a series of lectures funded since 2009 by the Sto-Stiftung Foundation at schools of architecture in London, Paris, Milan, Stuttgart and Graz. It is held at the Czech Technical University in Prague for the fifth year.
Ali Madanipour is a theoretician of urbanism and professor of spatial planning specialized in sociology. Madanipour is the author of dozens of exceptionally cited publications. His personal experience of childhood and adolescence in the Middle East, coupled with British education and critical thinking education, enables him to perceive the problems of European urbanism in a broader context, thus opening up key themes.
