Adjustments to the operation of universities effective from 8. 6. 2021

According to the extraordinary measures of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic regulating the operation of universities from 8. 6. 2021 and the interpretation of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic, the following rules apply:
  • All possibilities of proving a negative test for COVID-19 or its substitute are unified, i.e. universities can accept all test, vaccination and disease certificates according to point 8 of MO No. MZDR 14600/2021-15/MIN/KAN. 
  • It is permitted to remove respiratory protection during teaching and examinations at universities under specific conditions according to point 3 of MO No. MZDR 15757/2020-53/MIN/KAN, whereby all persons involved in teaching and examinations can be considered as academic staff in this sense. When removing respiratory protection (during teaching, testing), all persons must maintain a distance of at least 2 metres.
  • Respiratory protection must still be worn in other areas of the faculty.
  • From 1. 7. 2021, compulsory testing will be abolished.
