Exhibition of Czech and Slovak Architecture at Prague Castle

The exhibition is the most extensive retrospective of architecture in our countries in more than half a century. It takes place on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the independent Czech and Slovak Republics. More than 500 of the most important architectural works by hundreds of architects working from the end of the 19th century to the present day, both in the Czech and Slovak Republics, are displayed on an area of over 2,000 square metres.

The exhibition presents the development of Czech and Slovak architecture in four stages. Also on display are 23 architectural models loaned by the Faculty of Architecture of the CTU.

The main curators are prof. Ing. arch. Matúš Dulla, and DrSc. prof. Ing. arch. Vladimír Šlapeta, DrSc., Hon. FAIA.
