STUDENT COMARTMENTS

The main idea responds to the layout of the compartment cars, where a long corridor dominates, where people like to spend time on the long ride and watch the action outside. The same happens in the corridors of the tracks from which one enters the individual compartments - the rooms. The corridor is south-facing and serves as the main social space of the building. The rooms, on the other hand, are set back from the busy corridor by night zones so that students can enjoy a good night's sleep. Thus, the corridor serves not only as a gathering space but also as a sound screen from the train tracks.
