Mgr. Lukáš Beran, Ph.D.

Historian of architecture and pedagogue at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University in Prague. Since 2005 he has been working at the Industrial Heritage Research Center, which since 2011 has been a part of the Department of Theory and History of Architecture FA. Since 2013 he lectures at the FA subject Architectural composition.

2016–2020: Principal investigator of the applied research project of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic in the program NAKI II: Industrial Architecture: Industrial Heritage Monument as a technical-architectural work and as a place identity.

2011–2014: Investigator of the applied research project of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic in the program NAKI: Industrial Topography of the Czech Republic. Co-author of the nine-volume book series and headlines in the online map.
