Ing. arch. Šimon Prokop

Šimon Prokop graduated in Architecture from CTU in Prague (2017) focusing on generative design and parametric modeling. In his Masters thesis he researched intersections between architecture and music in the context of sketching and musical improvisation. He continues to innovate teaching of generative design at CTU in Prague and Archip, occasionally leading workshops at other universities like FUA TUL in Liberec or FA VUT in Brno. In his PhD research he investigates generative ambient music as means of reducing noise in spaces. Together with Lukáš Kurilla he co-founded Geometry Busters an optimization and geometry consultancy firm which helps architectural studios as well as industrial companies like LEGO, Škoda auto a.s., Preciosa a.s. with complex geometry tasks. Šimon is one of the founders of ArchiDAO, the first decentralized autonomous organization for architects operating on blockchain smart contracts, where he focuses on developing metaverse extensions of architectural digital twins.
