The Druhá kůže Competition presents student projects created within the subject of the Studio Apartment Building (ATBS). The contest for its students is organised by the Faculty of Architecture of CTU in Prague every time after the end of the winter semester.
The aim of the competition is to present different approaches to building design for housing, to support talented students in the form of participation in the exhibition and financial rewards for award-winning projects, to reflect studio teaching and to discuss the methodology of building design teaching at the Faculty of Architecture of CTU.
Competition projects will be nominated by studio leaders, with a maximum of three projects per studio. The winner will be decided about halfway through the exhibition by a professional jury of three external independent members (architects) and two dependent members (the chosen representatives of the studio heads and ZANs, whose students do not attend the show).
