SKI RESORT LIBÍNSKÉ SEDLO

The theme of the thesis is the design of a modern ski resort in the village of Libínské Sedlo near Prachatice in South Bohemia, which will serve as a year-round tourist destination. The main objective was to create a functional and aesthetically valuable space including two ski slopes with technology that will ensure continuous operation in the winter season, as well as a chairlift, service stations and facilities for skiers. The design also includes links to nearby tourist attractions such as the lookout tower and walking routes, which will encourage use of the area even in the summer months. The project emphasises ecological and sustainable design that minimises environmental impact and makes efficient use of natural resources. The planned introduction of a shuttle service from Prachatice will ensure easy accessibility without disturbing the tranquil character of the village. In addition, Prachatice will offer accommodation and necessary facilities for visitors.
