New Swimming Area Šarka

The project I'm working on is located in Prague 6, in the Vokovice area. Here lies t he protected park "Šárka" and the water reservoir "Džbán". The idea is to bring a new focal point to the surroundings of the reservoir and to enable better access t o the water from its banks, entrances to the area, new furniture, and information al elements. In the eastern part, where the Litovický stream flows into the reservo ir, I have created a completely new environment that offers a wide range of uses. One of the main points of the proposal is the beach and the area around it, which will breathe new life into the place, give it a new function, and replace the ailing s wimming pool on the opposite bank of the reservoir, which completely ceased op erations in January 2022.
