Annotation
The subject of this diploma project is the architectural proposal of a civic hall on the Detsky Island in Prague. The civic hall, as well as the whole island offer a place for public meetings and contemporary ceremonials - while being universal and open for everyone. The architectural proposal reflects the theme of social rituals and their importance in today's world. Furthermore, it offers the connection of the island with the surroundings and the urban structure.
