LIVING IN THE CONTEXT OF THE HISTORIC CITY CHEB

The topic of the diploma thesis is living in the historic centre of Cheb. For this purpose, the project is focused on a concrete place nearby the Cheb castle in Křižovnická Street, where it follows the history of this locality. The project also aims to imprint a new modern use of this space. The result of the work is a set of buildings designed for housing with underground parking and a commercial parterre. This work approach therefore is a combination of modern and sensitive usage of a history of this locality and accompanies both historic and modern elements in one architectural design.
