The Czech based company Petrof is currently the biggest manufacturer of acustic pianos in Europe. Pianos made in Hradec Králové are famous on all of five world continents. The five generetion old family brand founded in 1864 The brand was founded in 1864 and it's allready the fifth generation of the Petrof family, who still proudly continues in the tradition of its honest craft. Nowadys, the company enlarges expandes its factory with museum and showroom that should represent the brand in its hometown. The headquarters in Prague are situated in the Prague Prague´s Old Town on just one floor in of leased offices. I assume that a brand like this should have a dignified dignifying presentation of its long-time effort, whicht that would highlight the craft, philosophy, history and the unique sound of the their instruments. I consider Petrof pianos to be a national treasure, which deserves to be exposed presented with all its beauty to both the music lovers and turists as well. It's important to remind Petrof's difficult road to glory. The Petrof showroom is petrified frosen music composition where the pianos are exposed the same way as gemstones are in a jewelry box are. The concept of the building itself educates its visitors in the art of music and it mediates the desirable harmony between spiritual and physical world.
