HUMPOLEC - BORDERLINE

The master thesis deals with the composition of the city of Humpolec in relation to its immediate surroundings. It looks for the boundary of the built-up area of the city, basing it as much as possible on its current shape. The aim is to enlarge the existing urban area as little as possible and pay attention to its image at the interface with the surrounding landscape. The work addresses both landscape and urban issues in order to create a stable transition and with regard to the memory of place and development.
